1st Quarter HOA Get Together

Our Party was a success!!!  Thanks to all the Board Members for making all the yummy food.  And thanks to all that attended the event.   Pictures from the event can be found here.  We are planning on having more in the future.  Hope to see you there!

Let's Talk Trash

If you have been attending our recent HOA meetings, then you know that we are experiencing issues with our Trash.  The service is good, but our residents (and perhaps some non-residents) are overflowing the capacity of our garbage bins.  Much of this is due to remodeling items and furniture, and these cause additional pickups and large item fees.

The HOA has seen significant increase in costs due to these additional pickups and fees.  Homeowners should not be placing large items in our trash.  These costs are ultimately passed to all homeowners via our monthly dues.  To help us keep these dues at a reasonable cost, let us know when you see trash abusers.  Snap a photo if possible and send to  oldemillboard@gmail.com email address.  The costs can be redistributed directly to those in violation.  And if it is a non-resident and we capture their license plate, we can forward the information to the authorities as they can be fined, allowing the HOA to recoup some of these costs.

Be kind to your neighbor’s pocketbook – don’t be a trash abuser!

Please Pick Up After Your Pet

It doesn't take much to remember that we have pets in our community. In fact, if you don't watch your step, you’re liable to step in one such reminder! When walking your dog in our community, remember that it should be leashed. Also, it is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly. By taking a few simple steps to clean up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of our community, but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating nuisances in our community.

Violations can result in charging individual accounts for not picking up dog waste, since HOA incurs additional charges from the landscaping company when they must clean up while maintaining the property. Please take the time and consideration for your neighbors to clean up your dog’s waste. Thank you.

Thank you for your cooperation!
